With data centers projected to consume a growing share of the nation’s power, securing reliable and scalable energy is more important than ever. Joel Jansen is the Senior Vice President of Regulated Commercial Operations and Senior Vice President of Energy Assets at American Electric Power, where he oversees financial, physical, and operational strategies for AEP’s regulated energy portfolio. Since stepping into this role in July 2021, he has focused on optimizing asset performance and driving strategic execution across the company’s energy operations.
